Merge PDF (File Combiner)
Select several PDF files, reorder them however you like with the up/down arrows, and combine them into a single document with one click. The whole process happens in your browser with pdf-lib: your files are never uploaded to any server.
How it works
- Select two or more PDF files from your device (you can add more files afterward with the same picker).
- Each file is read locally and shown in a list with its name and page count.
- Reorder the list with the up/down arrows or remove files you don't want to include; that becomes the final order they'll be combined in.
- When you click 'Merge PDFs', pdf-lib copies the pages from each file, in order, into a new PDF document.
- Download the combined PDF with a single click as merged-document.pdf.
Use cases
- Combine several loose scans (contract, attachments, ID) into a single PDF to send by email.
- Merge chapters or sections of a long document that were generated as separate PDF files.
- Combine individual invoices or receipts into a single file before archiving them.
- Reorder and combine reports from different collaborators into a single deliverable.
