UlvixorBackground Remover (Chroma Key)
Upload an image with a solid-color background (green screen, white background, or any flat color) and remove it with one click to get a transparent PNG. This tool uses a color-distance chroma-key technique, not artificial intelligence, so it works best on flat, uniform backgrounds rather than complex photographs. All processing happens in your browser.
How it works
- Select an image from your device using the file picker.
- Click on the background area in the preview to pick that color as the one to remove, or select it manually with the color picker.
- Adjust the tolerance control: the higher it is, the more shades similar to the chosen color become transparent.
- The tool calculates each pixel's color distance from the chosen color and adjusts its transparency accordingly, with a softened edge instead of a hard cutoff.
- Download the result as a PNG, the only format that preserves transparency.
